The Skinny On Charitable Remainder Unitrusts

July 2nd, 2008 | by admin |

I’ve been reading up on
Charitable Remainder Unitrusts and learned some surprising things. For example, you can use them to save on taxes before you pass away, while still drawing income from your gift.
Everything I have read about
Charitable Gift Annuity trusts makes me thing that this is a good idea. I’d hate to see the bulk of my estate end up in the hands of the IRS.
Now comes the difficult part: informing my family of my decision. They’re all well provided for, of course, but they will object anyway.
Alright - that’s all for now.
