Less than $200 a month is typical in many locations and many companies are notorious for being extremely stingy and weasel-like when it comes to employee benefits. However, $200 a month is often quite a respectable amount of money in these 3rd world locations. The foreign investments have kick started the economies of many otherwise stagnant places.
