Free Book Publishing Has Made a Positive Impact On Our Lives

Superstition would still reign supreme and only the rich will have access to a proper education, since textbooks would be extremely expensive. Scientific discoveries would be made, but ultimately lost because no treatises could be distributed properly. Things that we take for granted, like hygiene or modern medicine will be next to non-existent. Book Publishing has made ignorance something that could be tackled, not something to resign ourselves into.
