Is an international maritime law arbitration moot really helpful?

September 4th, 2008 | by admin |

There are quite a few legal experts who feel that an international maritime law arbitration moot is a mere gimmick and not an activity that helps a student of law. They are of the opinion that though you get a lot of information and get to ask a lot of questions, there is not much reality in an international maritime law arbitration moot. It is a staged show wherein real issues are not tackled. Well, every activity has its own good and bad points. There is no doubt however that the  international maritime law arbitration moot  is fast becoming a powerful teaching aid in many law schools.
