Corporate Data Security

April 30th, 2008 | by admin |

How can I convince my boss to make corporate data security a priority? Why must executives always wait until a crisis occurs before taking action? Our company IS our IP. That’s all we are at the end of the day. Yet right now our doors are wide open to even the most rudimentary hacking techniques.
So naturally I’ve been researching Data Center Security on my own, hoping I can find a way to sell the idea to the execs. Perhaps a scary news story will wake them up
I don’t have much choice, since I’ll be the one to take the heat if a breach does occur, even if management continues to refuse to fix the situation.
