Installing Notebook Memory

January 28th, 2008 | by admin |

When it comes to notebook memory upgrades, you should know that the installation process is really simple as most notebook manufacturers today put a small door on the underside of the system with access to the memory module slots. If it your model has a RAM compartment on the underside of the laptop, then you can easily learn how to add ram to your laptop. But if your notebook doesn’t have a door like that (probably an older model or made by Toshiba as they have it underneath the keyboard so you have to remove the keyboard first), then you it’s probably best to contact a technician for the job. Or if you are technically savvy enough, then you can still do it using the step-by-step guide contained in the notebook’s manual.
