Linksys Routers and Laptop Computers

January 9th, 2008 | by admin |

Laptop computers are the number one electrical device used with a Linksys router. There are a number of reasons for this, but primarily because the users want to connect wirelessly to the internet. The router is typically set up independent of the computer, usually through a cable modem. The wireless network card used by the computer is then connected to this network. Usually the user can simply search for an available network, find their system, and set it as their default connection. The computer will then automatically connect to this network every time it is turned on.
