In order to be certified to work as a medical assistant you need to be certain that medical assisting schools you are considering are state recognized. If you are already certified as a doctor’s assistant and you are relocating to another state or country, you are likely going to have to enroll in a training course in the area where you are moving to, so that you can be recertified to work there.
