What the Doctor Said
January 28th, 2009 | by admin |No one wants to hear the doctor say, “I’m sorry, it’s cancer.” But that is what I heard one day a couple of years ago. Many of my friends had never heard of Pancreas Cancer, and to be honest I didn’t really know what a pancreas did. There is a lot of information out there, a lot of awareness of breast cancer and prostate cancer. However, I have not heard much about pancreatic cancer in the general public forums. It is difficult to detect, but surely some general awareness could be beneficial to the public. Awareness can help drive questions and research.
