Becoming A Personal Trainer

April 17th, 2008 | by admin |

The first thing you need to do to become a personal trainer is to be physically fit.  No one is going to take advice from someone who is overweight and unattractive.  You should look the best you can be so that others will want to look like you.  You should also have a vast knowledge of how to properly use exercise equipment to achieve the best results.  Most people who become personal trainers do so at the gym where they spend a lot of time.   Some will even offer to be a personal trainer in exchange for gym membership.  You can eventually get clients who will offer you money to come to their homes and help them work out. If you decide to become a personal trainer, you should take a course in CPR as you will be working with people who will be physically active.
