This may happen due to a number of reasons like lack of calcium and minerals, some injury, sitting in bad position, sleeping in wrong positions, or derogation of bone due to age. The common symptoms of arthritis in the back are - coming and going of back pain, spinal stiffness, pain, tenderness, and numbness in the back, lower back pain, pain in shoulders, weakness in legs or numbness, spinal deformity, limited range of motion for a longer period. There are number of treatment options of arthritis in back like massage, surgery, medications, heat pack, good diet and others.
