When you are home staging, sometimes a decorative set of items is a great attention grabber. Whenever you are attempting to showcase a set of items (such as unique collectibles) make sure that all the pieces of the set are together on one shelf or table. No one will notice or recognize the items as a set if they are scattered. A collection should be displayed as such. Your collection can be in a glass case, on the mantle, or displayed in a particular corner of the room. A foyer is a great place for a set of unique collectibles. Also, if the items are in a well lit area—or even a lighted shelf or case—the items will be notice more. Home staging with decorative sets is great if you understand how to place your items.
