Ready for the winter

December 20th, 2007 | by admin |

The winter had not yet started in full force but the wind was showing signs of chillness. My grandson Tom had come to spend some days with me. I never knew that he was a swimming enthusiast and I had already closed down my pool for the winter. Tom was upset when he saw the pool closed with covers on. I could read his face and immediately assured him that he will be able to swim next morning. He was amazed but when he saw me working on the pool and lifting the covers he realized that they were automatic pool covers which run with the help of a motor. He was amazed to see the cover lifting up automatically and getting folded as it ran on tracks. He was rejoiced when he finally saw the covers were off and that I did not have to put in much labor. The sparkle in his eyes had really brought me more satisfaction than the little efforts I had to put in lifting the covers of the pool.
