Like experts say, the president doesn’t control or shouldn’t be responsible for the ongoing leak. BP has the technology to do that. The military is not responsible for trying to stop that, it’s not national security. You will blame him for anything you can.

Where Obama fucked up: He put the cart before the horse; he was so busy pointing fingers at BP telling everyone THEY were responsible, THEY were going to PAY.
He sent lawyers FIRST.
It’s fairly obvious it’s BP’s reasonability, but is it their fault? (not proven yet) it was their rig.
It states in the law that the president can take control of the situation, It’s now been made worse because of Obama wanting to “Make BP Pay” I said before stop the leak, then figure out who’s fault it was

Blanco didn’t declare an emergency. She had to ask for the help, she didn’t till it was too late. Mississippi was hit just as hard; they did what they were supposed too.
Nagin was a tool; he had the opportunity to ship people out on busses and with Amtrak before the storm hit. HE DIDN’T DO IT!
Blanco’s an incompetent idiot! Most of us know that.

It’s been two years; Obama needs to take responsibility.

Katrina wasn’t Bush’s Katrina. It was Kathleen Blanco and Mayor Nagan’s democrat controlled leadership. Mississippi worked their way through much worse, as did Florida after it was hit with five in a row
Nagin and Blanco were the reason that assisstance was delayed for WEEKS! There were busses for Nagin to move people out, and Blanco would not pronounce the area a disaster because she thought it might make her ‘look bad’
