Were Republicans wrong not wanting Diplomatic Relations with Iran, seeing how the Protesters are calling to us?

pickle head asked:

Those signs the Iranian Protesters are carrying written in English are for you and me to read. Oddly, even the Republicans can read them and the Republicans wanted No part of Diplomacy with Iran.

Should we all listen to *The People* of all Nations before we listen to Political Parties who think they know it all?

  • How bad is the news of the high Democratic turnout in Iowa for Republicans?
  • iran?
  • How many people who advocate an Iran War would favor a war against China?
  • What is the evidence for Iran developing nuclear weapons?
  • How long before we go to war with Iran? Better question, why do neocons want war with Iran?
  • How can Obama argue with a straight face that health care reform is essential to economic recovery?
  • Would the Republicans actually seek to orchestrate a war against Iran in hopes of retaining the White House?

The protesters are not calling to us. It is right for Republicans to not want to have diplomatic relations with Iran. Which will still likely support terrorism (even under Mousavi), and still try to enhance it’s Nuclear Program. Even if they are calling on us, their is simply not enough people for a revolution.

Those of us that understand the current administration in Iran has no intent to have real relations with us. They want to use the weakness of Obama as a sign that the US is crumbling. If We had a real president and not a puppet that has to wait for instructions before taking any stand it would have been us that condemned Iran not Great Britain. Those that think talking to someone that really does not want to hear what you have to say is a step forward need a reality check.

Republicans want to take action not sit and talk it out because we know talking won’t work it is the ass hole of a president stopping us from going in and taking out this tyrant

Leave people to solve their own problems. Not all the protesters had english signs. They do not want foreign intervention whatsoever.

You are absolutely correct. The majority Iranians love the US & many send their children to study at US universities.

I know that the mullah regime has done its best to show the Iranian people as evil…but now you see that they run the country with an iron fist & oppress their own people & have little sympathy for human rights & human life.

It occurred to me a few minutes ago these Republican neocons wanting American interference were among the same crowd that suddenly discovered Tibet existed last year. Not one of them know a thing about Iran or Tibet yet they are quick to opine.

Neoconservatism is an elitist disease, carried out by what Lenin termed “useful idiots.” The loudmouths on these boards wanting Obama to act like Reagan are nothing less than uninformed dolts.

The signs in English are no surprise. Many Iranians eagerly learn English as soon as they can.
