What is the evidence for Iran developing nuclear weapons?
June 7th, 2010 | by admin |Arp asked:
Iran (and not just Ahmadinejad) insists it isn’t trying to develop nuclear weapons and only wants to use its nuclear program peacefully. So why is the United States government in such a panic about Iran wanting to build nuclear weapons? Is there evidence that Iran is lying? What is it?

Two words. Oil and Debt.
Debt provides control and oil provides money.

There are no nuclear weapons in Iran. Iran has neither the money or the education system to build nuclear weapons. It was simply an excuse for the Americans and British to invade for oil-related reasons!

…Iran has over 5,000 Centrifuges on line… “they” separate atomic material to ramp it up to weapons grade !

Because they might use the Missile on their Oil Supply in Saudi Arabia or Iraq, This Fall They will Launch a Missile and It will Land in a Oil Field you’ll see by Higher Gas Prices.

you have to take into context their unwillingness to talk to anyone else and the how no one can be sure if it will be safe. it doesn’t matter what they are planning to use the enriched uranium for, it just matters that they have it. Iran is not really in the buisness of being trustworthy and its just a stones throw away between power and weapon. If they enrich the uranium it could get stolen and sold to a country like NKorea who has stated that they will use it against us.

I’m not sure what evidence there is. However, I guess you have to be able to trust the word of a man (Ahmadinejad) who denies the Holocaust, threatens to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth and also leads chants of “Death to America”. Iran is a known sponsor of terrorism. Do we really want to take the chance that their nuclear aspirations are peaceful?

I don’t think US has any evidence to prove it. It’s just an excuse to increase the pressures over Iran to get more points when negotiating with them.

The evidence is = they are the second largest oil exporter in the world. yummy oil…
And they still hold a grudge against the U.S. for
1. having CIA installed a puppet dictator in their country back in the 1950s.
2. armed Iraq to attack Iran in the 1980s. The war lasted eight years. Caused millions death.
3. directly jumped in and destroyed several Iranian naval vessels during Iraqis’ retreating from Iran soil
4. shot down Iranian commercial plane by “mistake”.
5. purposely mistranslated Iranian president’s “Israel regime(government) needs to be changed” into “Iran wants to wipe Israel off map”
6. called Iran a “terrorist country”
7. making up daily propaganda against Iran which made average Americans think Iran is the “evil enemy” of the world… while in fact Iran never attacked anyone in the last 500 years.

Iran has numerous “nuclear” facilities. While there is not a tremendous amount of evidence at this point, one must look at Iran’s standing in the world. The are a terrorist regime. They support terrorism in fighting US troops in Iraq, they continuously call for the elimination of Israel. They also play games with the United Nations. These are not evidence of nuclear weapons, but merely reasons why they should not be allowed to acquire them.
