What major country would defend Iran if they are attacked?

Would Russia or China step in to defend Iran?
Nowadays, anything that happens in the Middle East is everyones problem. What should happen, is the Iranian people need to throw their Prez out, and instill a new Gov’t. One that would work with its neighbors, instead of wanting to destroy them. Russia has already stated in the news that Israel should not be making threats towards Iran. But when Irans Prez states similiar words, or worse, why doesn’t Russia say anything then?

That’s an excellent question. Let’s all sincerely hope not, as that would mean the war to end all wars.
However, I also doubt America (whoever is C-in-C) would be prepared to gamble on Russia or China not deciding to step in, which in itself should be enough to prevent America (or Israel, backed by America) launching an attack.
What can we ordinary folks do? Just cross our fingers and hope, I’m afraid …
Edit: I really don’t think Syria or any of the Arab nations would get involved as they are too keen on self-preservation and they know America could knock them out in a millisecond.

Simple:
All those that want to destroy Israel. However, America will probably be attacked first.
Then a false peace treaty will be signed with Israel. They will not be attacked until the temple has been rebuilt, and they have been sacrificing in it for three and a half years. Dan ch9 & Rev ch 13.

Russia has made a few comments..about leaving Iran alone. and has a lot invested in the Iranian economy so they might get involved.
If Israel does it, it will be fast and be over in the morning.. what happens after that we don’t know..

Yes, I wholeheartedly agree that what happens in the Middle East is everyone’s problem. Yes, I do believe that Russia would step in to defend Iran. I’m not so sure about China - they would be more reluctant to get involved. If Israel attacks Iran, the whole place will turn into a fiery inferno.
Edit: not so easy to just throw out a President and install a new government - lol.

I really think it would be in the best interest of any nation wishing to side with Iran to back off. However, that is not to say that several thousands of Muslims would sit idle in their country of origin. Can you say insurgents?

No. That’s not a possibility. Iran will have their best terrorist groups be their compatriots. Russia and China are energy hungry countries who sells guns like the US/UK and in return for OIL not political partners.
