The kids put my husband’s Rapala fishing lures in the pool.

December 25th, 2007 | by admin |

My husband was getting ready to go fishing on a Saturday morning. He couldn't find his rapala fishing lures. He swore they were in his tackle box, but he couldn't seem to locate them. The kids were playing in their little plastic pool that we bought for them, as it was very hot that day, and they were trying to cool off. I overheard them talking about the fish in the pool. I couldn't imagine how fish would have gotten in the pool, so I went outside to take a look. Their older brother was watching them, but apparently not very closely. They had put my husband's fishing lures in the pool to play with. Because the lures resemble small fish, I then knew what the kids were referring to when they were talking about the fish in the pool.
